Description
This is a painted floor cloth.
For those who don't know what that is, a floor cloth is basically a piece of fabric that has been sealed with gesso and then painted on and sealed with polyurethane. These were used back when carpet was near impossible to get and/or afford. Most of the time, as with this one, the fabric is canvas because it's thick enough to stand up to repeated wear and abuse.
We had to make one for our textiles class and this was mine.

It's pretty awesome. I hate having to do that with fabric cause mine always comes out messy and undesirable, but yours is quite clean. Don't worry about the m&ms lol. Is this the style you wanted me to request a character in?
